Images of Razer Kazuyo Game Controller Leaked

An image of what might be a MFi (Made for iPhone) controller from computer peripheral manufacturer Razer has been leaked on Twitter by @evleaks, who has been known to provide reliable images in the past.

The enclosure controller, reportedly named the Razer Kazuyo, appears to wrap around the iPhone, adding face buttons, shoulder buttons, and a directional pad on either side of the phone. This layout is similar to other iOS game controllers such as the Logitech Powershell and the MOGA Ace Power, which were both released in last month. Unlike both controllers however, the Razer Kazuyo includes the ability to tilt the iPhone up, allowing for better viewing angles and easier access.

It is not known when exactly the Razer Kazuyo will be released, but it is likely that it will be compatible with a growing list of iOS games upon availability. Currently, games such as Dead Trigger 2, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Bastion offer controller support, with additional developers pledging to build controller support into their apps now that controller hardware is available to consumers.

Its Sunday Photo 03 of the Week

This is a public photo of the city Damascus by night in Syria. The photo has been taken before the currents civil war.

Damascus is arguably the oldest city of our world. It became a city around 9000 BC and nowadays it the second biggest city of Syria.
I have been there once a few years back and it really is a beautiful city so rich in history. And it remind be that while the world as we know it seems relatively stable, things tend to change and when they do, it is very fast.

Syria is trying to resolve its civil war in which at least 3 factions are fighting and it is rather an ugly one. At some point, the international community might have to intervene especially if abusive means are being used such as chemical gas attacks.

In the past, way back then, Damascus must have been the place to be, it offered jobs and dreams like New York or Hong Kong nowadays. The first time I heard about Damascus was part of Alexander The Greats history. The historic city was part of his vast territory.

Anyway, Ill see you next Sunday for another photo of the week.

FES Watch watch on the basis of electronic paper from Sony

FES

Last week we told that the new division of Sony, Fashion Entertainments, was about to present a smart watch electronic ink that would be released next year . Just a couple of months ago, a company called FES presented a smartwatch that used this technology in both the strap and screen device. It only needed a touch to change his appearance up to 24 different ways. The terminal was part of a project of Japanese crowfounding which is near close to achieving the goal proposed.

Well, Sony has revealed the average Wall Street Journal that FES and Fashion Entertainments are the same company. Apparently, the multinational wanted to see if the campaign and videos that used to promote the team, were sufficiently powerful to generate buzz for themselves. The Japanese company has indicated that, whatever happens from now, will deliver this watch to those who have donated money to the manufacture thereof.

FES

The best thing about this smartwatch is that the battery lasts 60 days on a single charge, or so they say its creators. And, the only function that has the terminal is to tell the time, unlike other smart watches as the Motorola Moto 360 or Apple Watch, featuring a multitude of sensors that measure the user’s heart rate, among other features.

The FES Watch is not the only device at hand this division of the corporation. He is currently working on several wearables, like a bow tie, a smart glasses, sandals, or a hat, which, thanks to electronic ink, are able to change with touch. As we demonstrate that information, the company intends to bet heavily on this technology next year.

Also remember that it is not the first company that focuses on electronic ink. The Pebble signs up in the Pebble Watch in 2012 and, today, the clock remain one of the best smartwatches the sector.

The FES Watch should not be considered as a successor to the existing smartwatches Sony. Moreover, yes it can be seen as a great opportunity to show the public the latest technologies of the company. One of the things that have been more emphasis is on the design of the terminal, besides being original, is especially thin.

Apparently, they have taken this decision through a study stating that the aesthetics of a smart garment is one of the most important points to users when purchasing either team. For that reason, it seems that would be focused on a younger audience. Given that a few days ago we learned that Sony will reduce its product for its high-end handsets, the decision to create an electronic ink smartwatch would make sense, as it would reinforce its image as an innovative brand.

Netflix Unveils French Style House of Cards Series

Netflix, the US online streaming giant, said Thursday it was commissioning a French-style "House of Cards" series set in the edgy southern city of Marseille as it prepares to launch in France.
The series will tell the story of a cut-throat battle for the mayorship in the countrys second largest city, known as much for its cultural dynamism as its reputation for local corruption and endemic crime.
The eight-episode series, called "Marseille", will tell a "tale of power, corruption and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the French port city" and will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix at the end of 2015, the online giant said in a statement.
"Marseille stages a fight around revenge, animated by drug lords, politicians, unions and the political players of the city," it added.
Established French directors will take part in the project, including Florent Emilio Siri, the man behind the film "My Way" about singer Claude Francois, who will direct the first two episodes.
"Netflix has given us a blank page to create a House of Cards in French that breaks through unspoken hypocrisy," scriptwriter Dan Franck, the creator of the project, was quoted as saying.
The US groups launch in France on September 15 has caused controversy in a country where the film and television industry is strictly regulated.
Netflixs European headquarters are currently in Luxembourg, which means it will not be subject to quotas on the number of Francophone films it screens, nor to rules over financing which affect national television channels and in-country video streaming services.
Some in the French industry also fear that the launch of the on-demand service will take subscribers from premium pay television channel Canal+, which is currently the principal financier of French-made films.
While "Marseille" is its first French drama, Netflix has already produced several popular original series such as "House of Cards" and "Orange Is The New Black" that it can broadcast on its website immediately, without any copyright problems.

House of Marley Liberate on ear headphones review

The House of Marley Liberate headphones sit in the middle of the company’s on-ear lineup. The headset aims to deliver attractive looks, eco-friendly materials, and House of Marley’s signature sound for less than $100.

In past encounters, I found House of Marley headphones to cut a fine balance between style, sonic experience, feel good factor, and price. Let’s find out if the Liberate on-ear model fits into the same mold.

Retail package
Like all House of Marley products, the Liberate on-ear headphones come in a box made of eco-friendly materials. Inside it, you will find the headset, a carrying pouch made of organic cotton, and a couple of booklets.
The headphones do not need any additional accessories. You are fully covered out of the box.
Design and build quality
The looks of the House of Marley Liberate on-ear headphones are dominated by the wood, fabric, and stainless steel used in their making. Combined, the varying textures make the headset look like part fashion accessory and part audio product.

A look at the Liberate on-ear headphones in the flesh
There are three available color schemes for the headphones – black like the unit we tested, denim, and gray/brown. Large House of Marley logos on the sides of the headset leave little doubt about its brand affiliation.
Build quality is stellar. The Liberate on-ear headphones are put together from quality, eco-friendly materials and come with a solid two-year warranty.
The cable is covered in fabric, while its L-shaped 3.5mm audio connector is made from quality polycarbonate. Overall, the headset is capable of easily handling daily wear and tear.
Ergonomics
The footprint of the House of Marley Liberate on-ear headphones is small. Combined with the headset’s low weight (177 grams) and well-cushioned ear cups, the compact size makes it a convenient solution of both desktop and on the go usage.
At 52 inches of length, the tangle-free cable of the headphones is sufficiently long for regular use. The three-button remote is iOS-friendly and easy to operate. Only the play/pause button works with Android devices.
Sound
Technical specs of the House of Marley Liberate on-ear headphones include 40mm neodymium audio drivers, whose impedance and sensitivity are 32Ohms and 106dB respectively. Frequency response ranges between 15Hz and 21KHz.
House of Marley promises to deliver its signature sound with the Liberate on-ear headphones. In real life, the sonic experience delivered by the headset is dominated by warm, natural bass.
The low range defines the entire sound signature of the headphones and might not fit all tastes, especially if your music ventures don’t include bass-heavy tunes. That said, there’s still plenty to enjoy in the high and the mid-range that the Liberate on-ear headphones produce, so long as you set your expectations accordingly. After all, these headphones are not meant for studio monitor duties.
Audio quality of the phone calls is good. There’s nothing to frown at on this instance.
Final word
The Liberate on-ear headphones by House of Marley cut a fine balance between looks and capability. The headset is a good proposition for users who are looking for a stylish solution to match their on the go lifestyle and like bass-heavy sound.
House of Marley is asking $99.99 for the Liberate on-ear headphones – an over-ear configuration is available for $149.99. A quick search on Amazon reveals the headset available for a tad over $60, thus making it worth a hard look.

iPhone 6 NFC Based Payments Sapphire Screens Latest Rumours Ahead of Launch

Apple on Thursday started sending invitations for an event on September 9 that is wildly-anticipated to see the launch of the new iPhone - expected to be called the iPhone 6. However, it seems theres no stopping to leaked related to the iPhone 6 till the date Apple officially reveals the smartphone.
Thus far, the iPhone has been rumoured to arrive in two display size variants - 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, feature a new iPod touch inspired design; come with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor; sport the new Apple A8 SoC; cost less than the previous generation; offer higher resolution displays and bigger storage variants, as well as feature the long-awaited NFC connectivity .
Now, new details surrounding Apples iPhone 6 (including pricing) have surfaced online, and if they are to be believed the new iPhone might come with an NFC chip that will enable mobile payments and is supplied by Dutch chipmaker NXP, while only some iPhone 6 models are now being said to sport the premium sapphire screens.
Additionally, sources purportedly from Spain-based mobile carrier Telefonica (spottedby MovilZona and first picked up by Gforgames) tip that the alleged iPhone 6 might be priced higher than the current generation iPhone 5s (contradicting previous rumoursthat it would in fact effectively cost less).
According to the sources, the yet-to-be-announced iPhone 6 4.7-inch model will be priced at EUR 750 (Rs. 60,000 approximately), while the 5.5-inch model will come at EUR 950 (Rs. 75,750 approximately) compared to the EUR 699 price tag of the iPhone 5s. However, the sources at Telefonica are also said to have clarified the carrier is still in talks with Apple over the pricing of next iPhone models.
Another recent iPhone leak features sees both anticipated models displayed in the store window of Italian telecom operator TIM Mobile (spotted by TechZoom viaPhonearena). The phones in the images seem to match exactly the expected design observed in previous leaks.
(Also see: iPhone 6 Leaked by China Telecom in Promotional Weibo Post)
In the meanwhile, Wired reports that sources familiar with the matter say Apple will introduce its own mobile wallet and payments platform with the iPhone 6, and it would use NFC. The report claims that the rumoured mobile payments platform will be one of the "hallmark" features of the next iPhone. 9to5mac cites a recently released patent application to say the mobile payments platform will be implemented on the anticipated iWatch as well - which is also rumoured to launch on September 9.
Further, Financial Times adding to the above report suggests that the rumoured NFC chips will be supplied by Dutch chipmaker NXP Semiconductors, something that has been tipped several times in the recent past.
On Thursday, a report claimed to tip the exact location of the rumoured PN65V NFC chip made by NXP on the recently leaked logic boards of the anticipated 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 variants. An earlier report spotted the same chip in alleged iPhone 6 schematics.
Additionally, analyst Matt Margolis (who also happens to be an investor at GT Advanced Technologies), first reported by WSJ, claims that select iPhone 6 models will feature sapphire screens. As per Margolis, who cites sources from Foxconns manufacturing unit, the larger iPhone model (5.5-inch) will come with sapphire screen, while only few versions of the smaller (4.7-inch) iPhone 6 will sport the premium sapphire material on the display.
(Also see: Sapphire Display Cost Limiting 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Production: Report)
Further, Margolis suggests that the remaining non-sapphire versions of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model will feature screens made out of Corning Gorilla Glass, which is used in current generation iPhone models.
As we mentioned earlier, the iPhone 6 is likely to come with a new design, which is expected to be inspired by the slim iPod touch-like design.
Further, the next iPhone models are likely to house the power button on the right panelof the device, and redesigned volume buttons on the left panel.
(Also see: 68 Million iPhone 6 Units Ordered; TSMC Now Shipping A8 Chips: Reports)
The iPhone 6 is also likely to sport higher display resolutions for both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions, claimed to be 750x1334 pixels and 1242x2208 pixels respectively. Additionally, iPhone 6 might also ship with the anticipated new Lightning Cable with reversible ports. The iPhone 6 might also see the debut of the next Apple A8 processorsdesigned for improved efficiency and battery life. Reports have been tipping that Apples next iPhone would hit shelves on September 19, the traditional 10 days after.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 could offer download speeds of up to 450 Mbps

Samsung

As we approach 2015, the year of the launch of the flagships of each mobile phone manufacturer, we are gradually discovering new information about mobile ahead. Samsung Galaxy S6 South Korean Company Samsung has been one of the latest to star in a filtration in which it is said that one of the novelties of this terminal could be your data connectivity. Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S6 incorporate mobile Internet connectivity LTE Cat 10 type , which means that this smartphone could reach download speeds of up to 450 Mbps through the data rate.

This development would be possible in the variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Exynos processor, as indicated from the US website SamMobile. Apparently, Samsung is working on right now incorporate LTE Cat 10 connectivity to Exynos 7420 processor eight-core is expected to incorporate the new Galaxy S6, as we have shown above benchmarks.

Samsung

Assuming that this information is true, the only thing to bear in mind is that this variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Exynos processor only would go to markets like the US or Asia. Meanwhile, European users would have to settle for the variant with the variant with Qualcomm processor which, in principle; this will be accompanied by data connectivity.

Making a compilation of information that has leaked so far about the Samsung Galaxy S6 can see that this smartphone is very likely to occur with a 5.5 inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor eight cores 3 gigabytes of RAM, 32 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable probably via a microSD card) and the Android operating system in the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. New photo of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 183 221 galaxynote4dummycasefull

Such items make manufacturers more often to models and which is not yet officially presented, so it still remains a bit of a surprise. The shell in this picture is rather square and blocky and the only thing good to see, the screen, the connector at the bottom and the size of the latest phablet from Samsung.

In addition to this picture is also put online a screenshot showing that the Note 4 on Android Version 4.4.4 running – which is not a big surprise, since this is the latest version – and the TouchWiz interface. The model number of the Note 4 is to judge SM-N910T. At the plate

There is also a short video online where someone put a prototype of the Note 4 tries to operate, which is not very successful. The film offers very little information.

So we fall for further information on the four discs, but back on the rumor mill. Which indicates that the resolution with respect to the discs 3 is pumped up from 1920x1080p to 2560x1440p, with a screen size remains the same as that of, at 5.7 inch. There would be a Snapdragon 805 processor in it and a 16-megapixel camera.

Possible first images of Samsung Galaxy S6 appeared – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

It is assumed that Samsung in the spring of 2015, present its new Samsung Galaxy S6. May be already the first images of Samsung’s new flagship leaked.

Since 2010 Samsung keeps the tradition every spring to present a new model in the Galaxy S family. In the spring of 2015 – when Samsung maintains its tradition – the Samsung Galaxy S6 turn. In recent weeks, several times gossip and speculation about the Samsung Galaxy S6. Via an Iranian website images have appeared which reportedly Samsung Galaxy S6 is visible.

The Iranian website toranji.ir has published two photographs of possible slides from an internal presentation are visible. Slides on both the Samsung Galaxy S6 to see reportedly. On the first slide (above), the Samsung Galaxy S6 is displayed right next to the current Samsung Galaxy S5 (middle) and the Samsung Galaxy S4 last year (most left). On the second slide (below) is reportedly the Samsung Galaxy S6 in various colors visible which is also a part of the back is revealed.

Front and back of the Samsung Galaxy S6
Voor- and back of the Samsung Galaxy S6

When the photos are authentic, some conclusions can be drawn from the pictures. So striking that the Galaxy S6 similar edges is the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, suggesting that Samsung aluminum frame used for the Galaxy S6. The back cover also seems to be brushed metal, which also meets the expectations.

In addition, it is visible that the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a larger screen than the current Galaxy S5, which is also in line with the rumors so far about the Galaxy S6 came out. It is assumed that the Galaxy S6 namely a 5.5-inch qHD large DISPLAY going to get.

Based on previous rumors it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S6 going to get a 20-megapixel camera on the back and a fifth -megapixelcamera at the front. In the pictures you can see that the design of the camera on the back of the Galaxy S6 is approximately similar to the design of the camera module in the current Galaxy S5.

The last few weeks are also several stories about the processor surfaced that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will power. Some rumors say that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will turn on the ‘current’ Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. Other rumors say that Samsung will use all the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Yet other speculations suggest that Samsung will apply its own Exynos processors in the Galaxy S6.

The most obvious use appears to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor or Exynos processor. Fixed seems namely already established that the Samsung Galaxy S6 a 64-bit processor, and this unit is equipped with 4 gigabytes of RAM. That is only possible with the latter two processors.

rumored that Samsung its Galaxy S6 possible early January will present at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. However, this does not seem to really be obvious. An introduction on or around the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in early March seems to be more obvious.

LG makes fun of the iPhone From an iPhone

It’s always fun to see other companies trip over themselves trying to come up with a joke on Apple every time the latter is going through some sort of controversy. This time it’s BendGate (yeah they just add -gate to everything now), where some iPhone 6 Plus units were found to be getting bent if enough force was applied to them (we’ll keep aside the fact that few were actual incidences and most were done on purpose on YouTube to get pageviews for now).

But while it’s cool to make fun of your competitors, the least you could do is, well. not use the product you are making fun of. Someone at LG France clearly forgot about this and in trying to join the #BendGate bandwagon ended up tweeting the joke from an iPhone, as revealed by Twitter.
The tweet in French in says “Our smartphones don’t bend, they are naturally curved” and features a picture of the LG G Flex, which, indeed, was curved before it was cool. But come on, the least you could do is not use an iPhone when you are making fun of it. Shouldn’t LG employees be using LG phones anyway?

Toshiba Portege Z20t convertible ultrabook with up to 17 hours of use

Toshiba

The Toshiba Portege Z20t is a professional ultrabook hybrid that can operate both as a traditional notebook as a tablet to use. This model integrates a 12.5-inch display with full HD resolution and has a very competitive range of up to 17 hours when we use portable format. In her womb we are one of the latest Intel Core M processors Broadwell generation with a RAM of up to 8 GB and Windows 8.1 operating system. We also have a stylus to operate the panel. All this in a very thin body of 1.59 kilos and a thickness of 2.1 inches . The Toshiba ultrabook hit the market in the coming weeks for a starting price of 1,400 euros.

Hybrids between tablet and laptop devices have become an option often repeated by manufacturers. However, this year it seems that these models will give a real leap in performance with very prolonged use. And the Toshiba Portege Z20t can reach up to 17 hours of use in its most advanced configuration (in other lower settings autonomy remains at just under 16 hours), a rather impressive. Of course, in a more intensive the team we can be in 11 or 12 hours, but still more than a day’s work without searching a nearby outlet. These times are achieved through the use of a battery in both the tablet and the keyboard dock. By the way, if we use the tablet baseless usage time we stay in a maximum of 9 hours.

Toshiba

The 12.5-inch panel Portege Z20t features a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and uses IPS technology, which favors wide viewing angles up to 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. In addition, the company also includes a stylus to work with this panel, an accessory that can be quite useful. The desire for mobility Toshiba Portege Z20t is reinforced through its design, which reaches a maximum weight of 1.59 kilos in more advanced settings and competitive thickness of 2.1 inches. This is not one of the lightest laptops on the market, but still quite manageable and worth sacrificing a few grams to achieve such a long autonomy.

In the bowels of this model an Intel Core M processor Broadwell hides fifth generation. In more advanced settings Intel Core M5Y71 chip, dual core with a maximum power of 2.9 GHz is used, along with a RAM of 8 GB. These new processors from Intel are not very powerful, but seek to optimize energy efficiency to improve the autonomy of the equipment. As to the internal memory of Toshiba Portege Z20t, we have options in 128 GB or 256 GB SSD format.

Toshiba

Among the connections we were surprised to find a slot for an Ethernet cable, an inclusion helpful to connect via cable when we’re in the office. We also have WiFi, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port on the keyboard area. Meanwhile, the Portege Z20t tablet itself has a Micro USB port or Micro HDMI port. Finally, good news that leaves this model is the inclusion of a set of cameras for both the rear to the front. Specifically, sports a 5 megapixel lens with autofocus, LED flash and video recording capability in 1080p in the housing, while in the front area have a 2 megapixel lens.

The Toshiba Portege Z20t hit the market in the coming weeks for a starting price of 1,400 euros.
