This is a public photo of the city Damascus by night in Syria. The photo has been taken before the currents civil war.
Damascus is arguably the oldest city of our world. It became a city around 9000 BC and nowadays it the second biggest city of Syria.
I have been there once a few years back and it really is a beautiful city so rich in history. And it remind be that while the world as we know it seems relatively stable, things tend to change and when they do, it is very fast.
Syria is trying to resolve its civil war in which at least 3 factions are fighting and it is rather an ugly one. At some point, the international community might have to intervene especially if abusive means are being used such as chemical gas attacks.
In the past, way back then, Damascus must have been the place to be, it offered jobs and dreams like New York or Hong Kong nowadays. The first time I heard about Damascus was part of Alexander The Greats history. The historic city was part of his vast territory.

You all know, almost, the Pioneer brand. Samsung Galaxy NotePro makes its UK debut today
There are differently spec’d variations of the NotePro. Dominating both versions is a 12.2” 2560×1600 display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, Android Kit Kat out of the box, and 3GB RAM. Both versions also have 8MP primary cameras, 3MP front facing units, and microSD card clots capable of handling 64GB of additional storage space each, and 9500mAh batteries to power the device. Also, since it is a Note device, both tablets come with Samsung’s proprietary S-Pen.
Under the hood is where the options come in. You can get a version with an Exynos 5 Octacore CPU (made up of two processors: 1.9GHz quad-core, and 1.3GHz quad-core) 3G antenna (should you choose the option, there are WiFi only models as well). The LTE version of the NotePro comes with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, and you can get the tablets in either 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants.
The WiFi only, 32GB option of the NotePro starts at £650, so expect to pay more with all of the additional bells and whistles in the other versions.

The Canon LEGRIA mini X camcorder shows its potential in video

I am at the beach in Saint-Tropez, France. This is one of the secret area that I could enjoy, you need to take some private routes to get there and usually, people turn back because of those private routes.
Around this beach, there are so many people because it is summer time and it is the famous Cote dAzur in France.
This beach used to be so empty because of its secret location, this year has been one of the most populated one even though it remains enjoyable and way emptier than others beaches.

The Nubia X6 reduces its price in China to compete against Meizu MX4 Pro
Meizu last week, showed the world its new flagship the Meizu MX4 Pro, but not only showed off a phone with amazing hardware, but also flaunted to launch this phone at a more affordable price than initially expected. This was definitely a blow to rival smartphones manufacturers that compete with Meizu, had to rush to cut prices on their phones.
Nubia, ZTE brand has just announced that they have significantly reduced the price of its Nubia X6 up to 2,499 yuan, which would be about 326 euros, so you can consider it a great movement to stand up to your Meizu .
The Nubia X6, is a much larger device that Meizu MX4 Pro, because it has a screen that measures a whopping 6.44 inches and the remaining specifications are also very different, but both are clearly two flagships with prices incredible.
