iPhone 6 Concept with 4 7 inch Display Designed Similar to iPhone 5s video

We saw a lot of concepts for the expected iPhone, sometimes under iPhone Air name or iPhone 6.

Last week, Alex Casabò, an industrial designer, published a new iPhone 6 concept, that included 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass 3 display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, packs a quad-core A8 processor clocked at 1.2ghz, 1930 mAh battery, and a 600 DPI pixel density fingerprint sensor, all at just 5.5mm thick. The design similar to that of the iPhone 5/5S, check it out below.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Galaxy Note 3 to get Android 4 4 update in January

Samsung has been tight-lipped about the rollout of Android 4.4 KitKat for its premium smartphones, including its 2013 flagships, the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3.However, French carrier, SFR has claimed that the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update by the end-of-January and in early-February respectively. The French carrier has also revealed that it will announce the exact dates for the update release soon.
The Android 4.4 KitKat iteration brings some new features such as the translucent menu bar, which is located at the bottom of the screen; new dialler and caller ID; unified Hangouts messaging app; smarter Google Now integration; step counter and detector, and support for screen recording. Its worth pointing out that Samsung uses its TouchWiz UI on top of the Android OS and it is still to be seen, what changes are introduced in the new company UI.
Samsung has still been pushing the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for its top of the line smartphones that include the 2012 flagship, Galaxy S III; and its 2013 flagships, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II.
Notably, the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II brings Galaxy Gear support, Samsungs first wearable tech device, which only supported the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition at the time of launch.
In November, Google and Samsung released the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, soon after the HTC One Google Play Edition received the update.
Smartphone manufacturers such as HTC, Motorola and Sony had already revealed plans for the Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade soon after the release of the new OS. However, Samsung has been a late entrant for announcing the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Galaxy line of smartphones.

Pixelmator now available on the iPad for 4 99

Popular image editing application for OS X – Pixelmator – was announced for the iPad back at the iPad Air 2 launch event. The app is now available on the App Store and can be purchased for $4.99.
Pixelmator on OS X is a full fledged image creation and editing application. It can do most of the things that you can with Photoshop but at a fraction of the cost. But most importantly, it is beautifully made and works seamlessly with the OS as if it’s a native app.

Pixelmator for iPad is built along similar lines. Right from the icon to the UI design, the app feels like something that came out of Cupertino rather than a third party developer. As with the OS X app, you can create, edit and enhance images and designed to take full advantage of the 64-bit architecture on iPads running on the A7 and A8X processors, along with ARC, Grand Central Dispatch, OpenGL ES, Core Image, and Core Animation.
Pixelmator is available for $4.99, which includes the full app with no other in-app purchases.

LG Stylus G3 is equivalent Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – Tablets Magazine

LG today announced that it is prepared to deal with Samsung when it comes to affordable phablet the fray. Right in front of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will soon be LG’s G3 Stylus, a phablet which is actually less powerful than the Note 4, but take it much cheaper and just as easy to use.

The LG G3 Stylus is a phablet that fits in the G3 line smartphones and therefore has the same UX ( user experience ) as for example the LG G G3 Beat and Vista. Unlike those smartphones, the G3 Stylus gets larger qHD screen, no less than 5.5 inch. The pen is supplied according to LG comfortably in the hand and seems to be to get you scribbling, writing and drawing perfect – that is a lot more modest than Samsung defines the S Pen . The phablet additionally be pre-installed apps that users between entertainment and work can change.

seamlessly

Earlier this phablet was already gone in a video of LG .

2 770x332 LG Stylus LG G3 G3 Stylus counterpart is Samsung Galaxy Note 4

As the LG UX G3 Stylus same as the LG G3 smartphone, it benefits from all the things that the manufacturer has well organized with its platform. For example, the Stylus a thirteen-megapixel camera with the same features as on G3, as Touch & amp; Shoot, Gesture Shot and Front Camera Light. In addition, the Stylus a replaceable battery of 3000mAh. However, further specifications in part to: as is the 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, a step back from the G3′s 801 2.5Ghz Snapdragon chipset. Also, the front camera only 1.3 megapixels – the G3 has 2.1

The Stylus runs on Android 4.4.2, has eight gigabytes of storage, and one gigabyte of RAM.. The rest of the specifications makes LG announced next week at the IFA in Berlin. That this LG phablet opposite Note 4 turn, may seem a strange move because the specs do not come close to the Galaxy Note 4 so far. But LG has one ace in the hole: the price. Although the manufacturer has not yet announced, it is likely that (far) goes down, below the price of the Note 4 because the components of the Stylus are slightly cheaper once now.

Nvidia, maker of graphics chips, Samsung and Qualcomm sued for patent infringement around such chips, and wants an import ban.

Nvidia wants an import ban on some recent Enforce Samsung devices with the American authorities. Include the just-announced Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 4 Edge but the S5 Galaxy, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Tab S, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab Pro may Nvidia blacklisted.

It is the first time that a company Nvidia patent infringement to court challenges, reports the Wall Street Journal . According violate Nvidia graphics chips in many recent Samsung handsets are patents. Remarkably, this mainly for chip designs that Samsung purchases from other chip makers.

Samsung says towards Reuters that the indictment “by all means” will challenge it. Samsung phones are used in both chips in its design as chips include Qualcomm. That company is sued. Nvidia has not made clear what compensation would have it.

Qualcomm still refuses comment. ARM, a chip maker that Samsung has licensed the related designs for graphics chips also did not respond. Nvidia says to consider whether it is needed even more companies to complain. For patent infringement case by case Samsung has been conducting longer such a struggle, mainly against Apple

Xiaomi Mi 3 vs Xiaomi Mi 4

The Xiaomi Mi 3, one of the most popular smartphones in China, is up against its own successor, the Mi 4. Two generations ready to clash: boxes opened, benchmarks loaded, audio on, cameras rolling, batteries charged.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has more RAM and a third-gen Snapdragon 801 chipset, along with LTE connectivity - all that in a slimmer, more compact shell. The upgraded specs go with an entirely new look with a handful of exchangeable rear covers to choose from.
Xiaomi Mi 4 Xiaomi Mi 4 Xiaomi Mi 4 Xiaomi Mi 4
Xiaomi Mi 4 official pictures
The Mi 3 on the other hand is powered by the previous version of that same chipset and is still a perfectly good package for the price. The big things missing are 4G data and 4K videos - both easily rendered irrelevant if a) theres no LTE network where you live or b) you go for the 16GB version. With things like Gorilla Glass 3 and NFC surprisingly missing, is the Mi4 worth the upgrade?

Xiaomi Mi 3 Xiaomi Mi 3 Xiaomi Mi 3 Xiaomi Mi 3
Xiaomi Mi 3 official pictures
In a matter of hours well be reminded again of the difference between one particular phone and all others. Six full editions thereof and a couple of in-betweens - blessed and cursed, loved and hated, admired and imitated. Made in China, to the very last one.
The reminder we need though is that the difference between Chinese (as in "Cant pronounce the brand name") and the "Made in China" stamp on the back of an iPhone isnt what it used to be. A vast market with soaring smartphone demand, the growth of 3G and 4G networks, combined with improved skill and expertise, have seen a number of Chinese makers emerge from the pack with self-awareness and confidence.
Xiaomi has a prominent spot on that shortlist and plenty of reasons to be called "Apple of the East", both right and wrong. Still one foot in the copycat phase, but a couple of generations of flagships too that can compete with the best of them. Now, theyll compete against each other for a change.

Xiaomi Mi 4 over Mi 3

  • Higher CPU clock speed - 2.5GHz vs. 2.3GHz
  • 3GB RAM vs 2GB RAM
  • Improved camera sensor with wider aperture
  • 2160p video recording
  • 8MP front-facing camera vs 2MP
  • LTE connectivity
  • IR blaster
  • TV-out via MHL-enabled microUSB port
  • Rich set of exchangeable rear covers

Xiaomi Mi 3 vs Mi 4

  • Polycarbonate premium unibody vs cheap plastic with metal frame
  • Gorilla Glass 3
  • Dual LED flash vs single-LED
  • NFC connectivity
So, Xiaomi has two smartphone generations in less than a year, impressively equipped and competitively priced. Theyre officially meant for the Asian Pacific region, the domestic market probably the main target, but the build quality and features for the price will get enough attention elsewhere.
Both devices are available as we speak at less than $400 for the Mi 3 and $500 for the Mi 4 - thats the price of the 64GB version. The upgrade comes in at a little over $100 - more than a reasonable premium if you can make the best of the LTE and the 2160p video. That makes the Mi 3 the budget option but the obvious underdog has enough going for it.
Xiaomi Mi3 vs. Mi4 Xiaomi Mi3 vs. Mi4 Xiaomi Mi3 vs. Mi4 Xiaomi Mi3 vs. Mi4
Xiaomi Mi 3 • Xiaomi Mi 4
As usual, well try to look beyond the dry specs and put things in perspective. Our side-by-side hardware comparison follows right after the break.

New pictures of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – All About Phones

by , | 0 comments

Samsung unveils the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3, and the closer we get to that date, the more information is leaking out about this unit. Now, a new photo posted online in which the appliance is in a revealing case, so that the design can be.

New photo of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 183 221 galaxynote4dummycasefull

Such items make manufacturers more often to models and which is not yet officially presented, so it still remains a bit of a surprise. The shell in this picture is rather square and blocky and the only thing good to see, the screen, the connector at the bottom and the size of the latest phablet from Samsung.

In addition to this picture is also put online a screenshot showing that the Note 4 on Android Version 4.4.4 running – which is not a big surprise, since this is the latest version – and the TouchWiz interface. The model number of the Note 4 is to judge SM-N910T. At the plate

There is also a short video online where someone put a prototype of the Note 4 tries to operate, which is not very successful. The film offers very little information.

So we fall for further information on the four discs, but back on the rumor mill. Which indicates that the resolution with respect to the discs 3 is pumped up from 1920x1080p to 2560x1440p, with a screen size remains the same as that of, at 5.7 inch. There would be a Snapdragon 805 processor in it and a 16-megapixel camera.

Review Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10 1 – Tablets Magazine

Affordable middle tablets have become very popular over the last few years. Initially it was mainly the smaller tablets that fell in the affordable range, but there are now more and more ‘big’ tablets with a price tag of around 250 euros. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) is one of them, and so it is time to make a review of this tablet

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1.) – Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4
Screen 10.1 inch 1280 x 800
Digitizer No
Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz 400
RAM 1.5 GB
Storage Memory 16 GB
MicroSD Yes
HDMI No
USB Yes, microUSB 2.0
GPS Yes
3G / 4G No
Bluetooth Yes, 4.0
NFC No
Cameras 1.3MP webcam and 3MP camera
Battery 6800 mAh Lithium Polymer

The list of specifications is not very impressive, but at the same time it ticked all the boxes of the list of specifications that you would expect from a modern tablet. Add to that the price tag of just over 260 euros and you have a handsome tablet for a good price

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1.) – Hardware and design

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) is available in two different versions; black and white. This review is a black version uses only the white version is also recognizable as a Samsung product with a milk-white front and back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) is made of plastic, and glass. Of course there’s glass on the front and thus the display protected. Surrounding the display are again almost symmetric edges (short edges are slightly less wide) and Samsung are the standard buttons also incorporated back to the front of the tablet. A physical home button with two touch-sensitive buttons for back and multitasking we see on the front again. Where normally those buttons light up after handling this the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) does not.

Galaxy Tab 4 review design 770x410 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

The back of the tablet is made of plastic and has, again inherited typical Samsung finish to give. leather impression Fake stitching it back roads left though. At the back of the Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) this time is the camera without LED flash, processed and on the sides of the tablet you will find include stereo speakers, microSD card reader and buttons for on / off and volume., the place where the front and back of the tablet is coming together moreover, with a silver frame that the Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) a net that gives upscale appearance.

Galaxy Tab 4 review design 2 770x423 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Display

This is the fourth generation of Samsung Galaxy Tab and the screen since the first version never really changed. The 10.1-inch display is called a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which results in a less than impressive pixel density of 149 pixels per inch. This is undoubtedly one of the components making Samsung the price of Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) has managed to keep within bounds but meanwhile we still expect something more, too cheap Samsung tablets.

The pixel density makes sure that you can distinguish the individual pixels on the screen and you do not optimally sharp lyrics will see, and that there is some level of detail is lost in the images and photos. Also, it is thus less than full HD so is there anything of the image is lost when playing movies. This does not mean that the screen is unusable, it is for most applications really sufficient. But only meet minimum course is not a qualification should be. Strived

Galaxy Tab 4 review display 770x431 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Incidentally, color, contrast and viewing angles well organized, but it pales screen course in a direct comparison with a screen like that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 . tablet offers a reasonably natural view contrasting with nice black levels and excellent viewing angles for normal use. brightness is not particularly high, but the tablet is used in some brighter light environments well.

Connectivity

The offer of connection is again very standard and basic. has Wifi chip with support for 802.11 a / b / g / n signals, including signals in the 5GHz spectrum. That’s worth an extra plume. Naturally, this tablet also features Bluetooth 4 , 0, a microSD slot to expand cheap (up to 64GB supported) Memory and there is a MircoUSB connector for connecting to a computer or, more importantly, a charger.

Galaxy Tab Review 4 connections 770x424 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Speakers

The speakers are incorporated on the sides of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1). Due to the screen size of 10.1 inches is more than enough room to get. Genuine stereo effect audible The speakers are very nice for a tablet and as long as you do not cover the speakers accidentally with your hands (they are, after all, on the side where the tablet handling), the sound is perfectly adequate for playing games, watching a Youtube video or listening to music via Spotify. For serious use, so watching a movie or longer listen to music, of course there are better options in the form of the 3.5mm headphone jack or Bluetooth 4.0 connection.

Galaxy Tab Review 4 speakers 770x403 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Cameras

The cameras are about the only part of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) that does not score enough. Where the rest of the hardware is always with the narrowest of margins as does the cameras are just not as good. Not even with the best will in the world and knowing that this tablet is nice affordable. I maintain that it would be better to save the camera on the back road costs to show up and give out. something more to a webcam for both a more than optimal lighting conditions is needed to make something usable plates get.

Galaxy Tab 4 review camera 770x401 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) has a fairly large battery of 6800 mAh, which is very positive, because you can without any problem a full day. Recharging is via a standard microUSB port and I have several chargers can be used as a charger, positive so without any problem Playing some games, browsing the Internet and social media I could easily an hour or 10 forward with the tablet. Looking at the competition that is certainly a positive point

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1.) – Software

Samsung products come with Samsung software. That should really not be a surprise anymore. Under the layer of Samsung simply turn the Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) course on Android, namely Android 4.4.2 KitKat. At the time of writing about the most recent version available. Of course carries the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) also Google’s approval so you have access to all the standard Google apps and services, including the Play Store and Google Now.

Galaxy Tab 4 review software 770x432 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Samsung’s TouchWiz interface is quite famous so just about every user of a Samsung tablet considering buying is aware of this skin, and perhaps attaches even some extra value to the skin. because Samsung has quite a few skills Learn to handle in this skin. Personally, I recently become a fan of the multi-screen capability that has Touchwiz, it is quite possible to run. two apps side by side Just about every interface element is adapted and looks slightly unlike standard Android. Yet most matters still to be found in the same place or returned to a logical alternative. way I personally do fan of the place (below left) which is the default Google search bar installed.

Galaxy Tab Review 4 Software 2 770x437 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

In addition to the adaptations of all small and large interface elements Samsung also distinguished itself often Delivery of a large number of apps. Fortunately they abandoned it lately, at least in the way in which these actions are accessible to users. Samsung offers users still cool actions 50GB Dropbox space or free trial periods for various services / newspapers / streaming media services, but those actions are now housed under a special Samsung Apps app where users can therefore choose which action or not self- used (and installed) is. Where the Galaxy Tab S a special widget is available to promote these actions we see these additional widgets not return the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) . The range of activities also varies by model, with the more expensive Galaxy Tab S tablets, there are some trial subscriptions extra available

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) – in use.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) is clearly based on casual use. terms of specifications and price A power-user who wants more in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab NotePro line choice, but for example, a family with this Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) as a second or perhaps third Screen are service needs do satisfy the tablet fine. As Samsung puts it, it’s an awesome device to any TV to watch on the couch (with headphones), or to use for a recipe app in the kitchen.

Galaxy Tab 4 review using 770x437 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Despite the disappointing resolution to me was so concerned it well suited for watching TV and Youtube videos, reading, I would recommend less again. The screen is not necessarily very restless, but I notice that my eyes get tired more quickly when reading, for example, compared with a higher resolution retina display iPad mini.

Performance

The performance is the final component that is approached in this review, and again scored Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) again sufficient. tablet is fast and does not feel anywhere always go smoothly, but the tablet is very constant and stable. So although it takes a little longer to start a game always eventually start it. As his games once they are loaded anyway useful. A modern game like Modern Combat 5 is running fine, and that says a lot about the power.

Galaxy Tab 4 review gaming 770x424 Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1)

Casual games may therefore not a problem. The browser feels quickly sat down, even if you use that in (splitscreen) with another app. It is primarily the interface where you can sometimes see a few frames thinks too little. Samsung chooses all kinds of small animations that make the skin unnecessarily heavy, and so things just what langzamen feel

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) -. Conclusion

In principle, this is the perfect tablet for Dutch culture it is a real 6 Just slightly better than adequate, but we walk in school usually is not much harder than necessary. And a 6 in the Netherlands enough. It is unfortunate that Samsung was not just a little bit more ambitious and a prettier screen was installed in the tablet than it was just point been better. However, the Samsung also earned some bonus points because all those good marks do work together very well, and therefore more than the sum. Also in view of the price you have to say that Samsung has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) is a great product on the market as a premium brand. Short, thick enough for this model from Samsung.

Cons

  • Screen is disappointing
  • Skin can not be disabled
  • Poor cameras

Pros

  • Stable and excellent performance
  • Good battery life
  • Excellent value for money

‘Samsung testing Android 4 4 3 for Samsung Galaxy S5 all’ – Android World

According to a source from the usually well-informed SamMobile Samsung is currently already working on testing the still unannounced Android 4.4.3. An update to the new version of KitKat appears less long after the official announcement to come.

Android 4.4.3

Google has not officially confirmed the existence of Android 4.4.3, but by putting a list of changes online by mistake, the company has already an indirect confirmation given. Android 4.4.3 is not a major update compared to Android 4.4.2, the version of Android KitKat now running on Samsung Galaxy S5. What Samsung itself so far will add to the new version of KitKat is not yet known.

SamMobile has its source informed that Samsung is currently testing an update to Android 4.4.3 for the Samsung Galaxy Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 LTE-A, a variant that is not available in the Netherlands and Belgium. Currently the update is still in the ‘integration’ phase, which means that the proprietary software and interface are integrated in Android 4.4.3. It is expected that Samsung will update the display after Google has begun updating its Nexus devices to 4.4.3. Pass freely
