FES Watch watch on the basis of electronic paper from Sony

FES

Last week we told that the new division of Sony, Fashion Entertainments, was about to present a smart watch electronic ink that would be released next year . Just a couple of months ago, a company called FES presented a smartwatch that used this technology in both the strap and screen device. It only needed a touch to change his appearance up to 24 different ways. The terminal was part of a project of Japanese crowfounding which is near close to achieving the goal proposed.

Well, Sony has revealed the average Wall Street Journal that FES and Fashion Entertainments are the same company. Apparently, the multinational wanted to see if the campaign and videos that used to promote the team, were sufficiently powerful to generate buzz for themselves. The Japanese company has indicated that, whatever happens from now, will deliver this watch to those who have donated money to the manufacture thereof.

FES

The best thing about this smartwatch is that the battery lasts 60 days on a single charge, or so they say its creators. And, the only function that has the terminal is to tell the time, unlike other smart watches as the Motorola Moto 360 or Apple Watch, featuring a multitude of sensors that measure the user’s heart rate, among other features.

The FES Watch is not the only device at hand this division of the corporation. He is currently working on several wearables, like a bow tie, a smart glasses, sandals, or a hat, which, thanks to electronic ink, are able to change with touch. As we demonstrate that information, the company intends to bet heavily on this technology next year.

Also remember that it is not the first company that focuses on electronic ink. The Pebble signs up in the Pebble Watch in 2012 and, today, the clock remain one of the best smartwatches the sector.

The FES Watch should not be considered as a successor to the existing smartwatches Sony. Moreover, yes it can be seen as a great opportunity to show the public the latest technologies of the company. One of the things that have been more emphasis is on the design of the terminal, besides being original, is especially thin.

Apparently, they have taken this decision through a study stating that the aesthetics of a smart garment is one of the most important points to users when purchasing either team. For that reason, it seems that would be focused on a younger audience. Given that a few days ago we learned that Sony will reduce its product for its high-end handsets, the decision to create an electronic ink smartwatch would make sense, as it would reinforce its image as an innovative brand.

Sony Xperia Z Review

Sony Xperia Z

Sony Xperia Z

First waterproof phone released by Sony. This phone is priced at 21000-24000 INR and was released in 2013 February ,still the design looks classy. This phone is still a demanding phone with some special features in it which makes it stand away from crowd phone.Phone really looks and feels premium out of the box.Prices have being cut short because it was long ago released  and can be a good buy if you want to feel high class in a low budget. You can get this phone even cheaper from online stores so it can be a good buy.Reviewing this phone was a great opportunity for us and would like to have these kind of phones with some different and high standard design in the market.

Our Review

Phone feels very premium the moment you took the phone out of the box.It is covered by tempered glass on its back and sides.Phone has a 5 inch Full HD display which is pretty bright and creates sharp image, having tempered glass on its back has some disadvantages too,it makes fingerprint on it which does not look good.Phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2.2 megapixel front camera, both have auto-focus and rear camera performs strongly. It produces good sharp images even in lowlight and has a good auto focus speed.Phone also gets latest updates swiftly and makes  phone smoother with every update.Phones glass is shatter proof and will will not break even when phone falls down.Special feature of this phone is that this phone is water resistant and dust resistant.Phone is water resistant for 1 meter and 30 minutes though the touch doesnt works in water.Viewing angles of this phone is not so good as images get black at off angles. One more con of this phone is that it comes with Android Jellybean so u have to update it to android Lollipop.Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064 Chipset ,Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 320 GPU which makes it a powerful phone and lags very little.Phone has a 2330 mAh which is ok but not soo good.In all this phone can be a lavish buy.

Sony Xperia V

SONY XPERIA V REVIEW

Which makes this a pretty exciting moment for me, because the Sony Xperia V beckons. From a line of smartphones predicated on its connection to their gaming networks, the Xperia V does seem to have some of the old function-specific spirit I remember. But Sony has been able to put even more features into at least this particular version of its smartphone that they hope will sweeten the pot. You get the picture even before opening the box – sprawled on the front of is a picture of the V riddled with water like a window. A couple extra blue-colored pictures of my new smartphone coming into contact with water serve as reminders of what is explained quite well within the manual: “protected against the effects of immersion in water in depths of between 0 and 100 cm for up to 30 minutes.” It might not be the most exciting feature to come along in a smartphone, but it is certainly a feather in its cap – and of course I’m going to throw this phone in some water. Read on for my review of this water-resistant phone and watch the video at the end to see my thoughts on the Sony Xperia V. Here at Android Authority we love the design of Sony phones and have often stated that they are some of the best looking phones out there. As a first time Xperia user with the V, I would have to agree, given this device. It has a very nice, sleek look that echoes the style that we are used to from a company like Sony. The Sony Xperia V is a high end touchscreen smartphone belonging to the flagship Xperia series of Sony. The phone comes out of the box with Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, which can be upgraded to Android 4.1. The handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Krait processor. The phone also has 1 GB RAM to help in the smooth performance of various functions. The Sony Xperia V weighs about 120 grams and it is 10.7 mm thick. The display screen of the phone measures 4.3 inches and it offers bright visuals at 720 x 1280 pixels. The capacitive touchscreen display of the phone is protected by scratch resistant glass. The 13 MP camera in the phone is capable of clicking impressive images at a great resolution. HD video recording can also be performed in this handset. The phone comes with a secondary VGA camera for video calls. The 1750 mAh battery in the phone offers talk time up to 7 hours. Standby time of the battery is 300 hours in 2G. The phone has 8 GB memory storage space internally, which is expandable up to 32 GB through a microSD card. The Sony Xperia V supports multiple platforms for connecting to the internet. Users can access high speed internet through 3G and Wi-Fi. File transfer is allowed through Bluetooth and micro USB port. The phone comes preloaded with a lot of applications and high end functions to provide maximum satisfaction to users. It’s been a while since I handled a Sony phone. Back in the mid 2000s, I was a big fan of the Sony Ericsson line of Walkman phones and had plenty of fun taking quite high quality photos with the Cybershot versions. As the smartphone market grew, function specific devices like those Sony used to put out became less and less common – unfortunately, it seems that the same goes for Sony phones in general.
