Samsung to launch Galaxy S5 with iris scanner by April

A VP at Samsung has confirmed the company will be launching its latest smartphones flagship, the Galaxy S5, by April. The executive vice president of mobile business at Samsung - Lee Young Hee - has shed some light on companys future plans about the Galaxy S5 flagship.
Just like its Galaxy S4 predecessor, Samsung is once again targeting March for the official announcement and April for the release date for the Galaxy S5. This means the manufacturer wont be bringing any flagship phones on the upcoming MWC in Barcelona next month.
Since the Galaxy S5 is going against Apples latest iPhone 5s and in the meantime it should be prepared for the upcoming iPhone 6, Samsung is considering a fingerprint sensor and an iris scanner options. Thus it will not only catchup with the competition but will go way ahead of it. According to Mrs. Lee, the company is exploring its options, so this is no guarantee the iris recognition technology will make it to the Galaxy S5 in time for release.
A brand new design is going to be one of the Galaxy S5 key features. Samsung has acknowledged the users werent impress at all with the Galaxy S4 reused design and thats why the company has gone "back to the basics" and created its new flagship from scratch. Here is what Lee Young Hee is saying about the new design:

"When we moved to S4 from S3, it’s partly true that consumers couldn’t really feel much difference between the two products from the physical perspective, so the market reaction wasnt as big. For the S5, we will go back to the basics. Mostly, its about the display and the feel of the cover."
Meanwhile gossip also has it that Samsung is working on a three-sided display for the Galaxy Note 3 successor. The innovative screen will let you see various notifications on the sides of your phone. Samsung has already demonstrated similar technology before, so it wont be a surprise if we actually see it implemented in the next flagship phablet. All this new technology also has a downside however and in this case it is the higher cost. Mrs. Lee confirms: "We are targeting consumers who want more professional use and tend to be willing to pay more for handsets".
Finally, Mrs. Lee unveiled Samsung is working on a second generation wearable device to replace the Galaxy Gear. It will add more functionality (especially health-related) and reduce the bulkiness. It will premiere with the Galaxy S5.
So, with most of these coming straight from Samsung, its almost certain to come out true. So if you ever worried that Samsungs well of innovation is starting to dry up, you dont have to anymore.

HTC Desire 826 new selfie phone with front camera Ultrapixel

HTCAlthough he started the 2015 CES with the launch of HTC Desire 320, at the end forecasts have been met and the Taiwanese company has launched the HTC Desire 826, which we discussed some time ago, and now it’s official. Although in the end we were kept awake until dawn, took a few hours to show what would be its new terminal on the Desire range as promised a few days ago. The new HTC Desire 826 is official and has, as the Desire EYE, with a focus lovers “selfies” since it has incorporated UltraPixel camera on the front.

With Snapdragon 615 and 2 GB of RAM

But a first thing first, is that this new mid-range comes with a 5.5-inch screen and FullHD resolution. Inside, and is what gives this category a step behind the larger is its Snapdragon 615 processor, one of the new family of 64bit Qualcomm that beyond being a quad core to 1, 7 GHz, also features connectivity LTE Cat 4 series terminals at home. Specifically, this HTC Desire 826 is a dual SIM with the particularity that the two cards can be can count 4G connections.

HTC

With a design that follows the aesthetics of HTC Desire 820, colorful and mixing various shades for polycarbonate shell with metallic accents, also highlights the use of a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and aperture F / 2.0. However, as stated at the outset, this is a new “selfie-phone” and HTC has taken his UltraPixel technology, although in the rear chambers of the HTC One was not entirely understood, greatly enhances the front of Desire 826 with 4 megapixel sensor.

HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook Release Date

HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook review: A slim laptop that gives you more touch pas

Hp Spectre 13 Ultrabook Release Date-The nice The HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook Amazon incorporates a sharp, thin, ultrabook design, high-end upgrade options, a great computer keyboard, and an extra-wide hint pad. The Bad A few other premium ultrabooks offer less expensive. The extra "control zone" spaces for the touch pad dont seem like a fully came to the realization concept. The Bottom Collection The HP Spectre 13 is a great all-around ultrabook, which has a great keyboard, screen, and battery existence. The unique Command Zone touch pad is interesting, but I hope it were a tad bit more useful and user-friendly.

Hp Spectre 13 Ultrabook Release Date

Hp Spectre 13 Ultrabook Laptop

On paper, HPs new Spectre 13 ultrabook seems as if just another sleek 13-inch laptop, while using the same basic ingredients and design as a large number of other options inside around-$1, 000 type. Its main feature is a wider-than-normal hint pad, which includes left- and right-hand whitening strips, called "control areas and specific zones, " allowing simpler interaction with Home windows 8.

Im pleased to express that this is some of those rare products that comes off better directly than on report (a phrase I first useful for the original Apple mackintosh iPad). Despite typical looks and hardware, the $999. 99 starting price for any 1080p screen, Intel Center i5 processor, and also 128GB solid-state get (SSD) is reasonable, given the excellent quality. The backlit keyboard is very good, very sensible and leaving small dead space for the system interior. The actual extra-large touch pad is welcome, and makes Windows 8 a bit easier to have difficulty with, although the extra controls offered by the edge-of-pad areas and specific zones arent explained together with they should end up being, or implemented intuitively. But I ended up being still glad to own extra surface locations for tapping and also swiping.

However, its a jampacked market. Apples 13-inch MacBook Air starts of them costing only $100 more, seeing that does Lenovos excellent Yoga 2 Professional. The latter gives you a better-than-HD 3, 200x1, 800-pixel-resolution screen, but the Spectre 13 can easily upgrade to 2, 560x1, 440 a great extra $70. The Yoga 2 also can transform into a kiosk or pill, while the Spectre 13 is merely a clamshell laptop without having hidden contortionist functions.

The hp spectre 13 ultrabook ebay (our evaluate units specific type number was 13t-3000) doesnt break many new ground, and its particular wider touch pad is held back a bit by gimmickry, but it handles to capture the best feel for a 13-inch laptop, which is a great elusive X factor numerous other laptops miss out on.

Design and Capabilities

The outer silhouette of the Spectre 13 screams MacBook Atmosphere, but the same might be said of most ultrabook-style laptops in the past year or so. Where the Spectre 13 differs is in its dark brushed-metal top, which nicely sparks the lighter brushed-metal internal. Combine that while using the jet-black screen bezel, it leaves you which has a tri-toned laptop. Id personally admit to currently being partial to monochromatic styles, but the Spectre 13 remains sharp-looking.

Its an exciting evolution from the very first time we saw the particular Spectre brand coming from HP, in the contour of the 2012 Jealousy Spectre 14. That unique notebook computer design featured a set black lid covered by having an outer layer connected with Gorilla Glass, together with an awkward Gorilla Glass overlay together with the wrist relaxation. We havent viewed that exact combination since (although a small number of laptops since include tried the a glass lid look), but now the particular Spectre brand pops up occasionally in HPs directory to represent one thing high-end, but perhaps a bit edgier than HPs other premium brand, Jealousy.

While it is not fundamentally different coming from other HP input keys, or even coming from other 13-inch sleek laptop keyboards, typing for the HP Spectre 13s backlit keyboard is short of amazing, thanks to the correct combination of important size, depth, and also spacing. The important factors are large and also widely spaced, and also important keys -- Key in, Shift, Tab, and so forth -- are really generously sized. Theres little dead space left and right of the keyboard, something that always bothers everyone on laptops connected with any size.

The standout feature on this system is a great extra-wide touch pad. Its as broad as Ive seen on the laptop, measuring 2. 6 inches substantial by 5. 5 in . wide. So much, so good. However, the extra space on either side isnt precisely the same as the middle of the pad. Instead, the particular wings, aka manage zones, have a a bit different color and also rougher texture than other touch pad.

And so, what does a control zone complete? Theyre designed to create it easier to interact with Windows 8, as Microsofts current operating system is built which has a touch screen, not only a touch pad, as the primary goal. That means simple things, such seeing that accessing the Expensive jewelry bar or application switcher, are a hassle if you are using a hint pad or mouse rather than touch screen.

Click on the correct control zone and you call up the particular Charms bar and never have to swipe it in in the right edge of the touch pad. Then scroll your finger along the zone and you will select the different Charms bar options. Repeat that while using the left-side Charms bar and you get the identical effect, but for your app switcher. Just be sure to click near the bottom of the pad, where the joint allows it to completely depress. Tapping really does nothing, which I discovered counterintuitive.

Frankly, the larger benefit is coming from having more area to navigate upon, and the special control-zone functions can be a thin overlay with best. Still, Ill require a bigger touch pad over the smaller one any day, and its definitely interesting to determine HP try and replace some of the most obvious flaws in Home windows 8.

The computer keyboard and touch pad are both excellent, and so could be the display. Our 13. 3-inch screen had a 1, 920x1, 080-pixel indigenous resolution, but a great upgrade to 2, 560x1, 440 can be found for a reasonable-sounding $70. The screen is very glossy, but likewise very rich and also bright, with deep blacks and hues that pop.

Like recent HP notebook computers, this system is co-branded with Bests Audio, which basically means it has some sound-shaping computer software that adds bass and dynamics in order to music, either with the internal speakers as well as headphones. The speakers fire down in the bottom panel, making sure that helps create a great illusion of bass, but you still will not DJing a party with this particular.

Ports and connections HP Spectre 13 ultrabook
  • Video : HDMI and also Mini DisplayPort
  • Audio : Stereo audio speakers, combo headphone/microphone jack
  • Data : 2 USB 3. 0, Sd card reader
  • Networking : Ethernet, 802. 11ac Wi-Fi, Wireless bluetooth
  • Optical drive : None

Connections, Performance, and Battery Power

With two video clip outputs, the Spectre 13 already incorporates a leg up on most other ultrabooks. You will find only two UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS ports, but the Wi-Fi is of the faster 802. 11ac range, as in the most recent MacBooks (note, nevertheless that 802. 11ac is a $20 optional upgrade).

With a fairly common Intel Center i5-4200U processor, this product offers no actual performance surprises. Programs ran smoothly, and switching between multiple Web browser windows, video playback, and other tasks was stutter-free. This kind of mainstream-level performance is more than enough for most end users. If you consider editing HD video clip or playing serious PC games, you might look for an increased laptop with a discrete video credit card.

An ultrabook life or dies depending on its battery existence. In this event, the HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook lives nearly the hype, running a great impressive 8 hours and 38 minutes inside our video playback battery power drain test. That isnt quite the lofty a higher level a MacBook Atmosphere, but its still more than enough for a typical workday, depending on your own workload.
