New Feature Whatsapp Rolling Out Live Location Sharing Feature For Android And iOS Users
Whatsapp has been introducing new features to better the experience of their users, Whatsapp Finally rolled out Live Location feature on whatsapp. This was seen On whatsapp Blog. This feature might not be new as it has already existed on Both Facebook Messenger and Google Map.
The Feature will be available for both Android and iOS Users as well. It will be rolling out fully in the coming weeks. The Live location sharing is end-to-end encrypted and you can control who to share with and for how long. Youre also able to stop sharing at any time.
You can now share your Location with friends on whatsapp even in group as well. But If youre sharing to a group chat, every person in that group will be able to see your real-time location on a map. And if more than one person shares their live location, all of their whereabouts will be visible on the same map for added convenience.
So To To start live location sharing, open a chat with the person or group you want to use it with, choose the Attach button then Location - the new Share Live Location option is what you want to pick of course. Choose for how long you want to share and tap Send.
